Sonny was a Manchester Terrier who first came to see us in 2001. He was a rescue dog and his new adopted owners were very proud. He had recently been treated for heart worms and was in desperate need of dental cleaning. Over the next few years he enjoyed a great life filled with loving care by his owners. Then in 2006 at the age of 13 years his kidneys began to fail. His owners approved initiating treatment but he did not respond. His owners sadly agreed to let him go. They donated all his medications and food to our clinic. Sonny's spirit had touched all our lives so we used these donations to set up what we now call the "Sonny Account" for pets with special needs.
